“When it comes to Mental Ill Health, there is a lot of emphasis put on the concept of having a conversation. We are told it’s ‘OK’ to talk. But what if you are in such a bad way you simply don’t have the words to describe how your feeling. And what if you do open up to a colleague and they don’t know how to receive that information. Or how to reply. Are you putting that person at risk also. Are they even the right person to talk to – are they going to say the right thing or could they potentially make the situation worse? Unfortunatley simply starting ‘the conversation’ is not as simple as it sounds”
